(Spencer)– The Spencer Retail Kickstarter Committee is providing assistance to an additional business. The committee has approved a loan of $25,000 for the owners of B & B Truck and Trailer Repair, to assist in the acquisition of what was formerly Kardell Trucking in Spencer.
The Retail Kickstarter Program assists with recruitment and retention of businesses in Spencer. This is the 15th business that’s been assisted by the program since its inception in 2018. It’s made possible through a collaboration including the city of Spencer, Spencer Main Street, the Spencer Chamber, Spencer Municipal Utilities and several banks in Spencer.
