(Spencer)– Spencer Hospital is limiting access to the facility during nighttime hours. Entry between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. can only be made through the Emergency Department.
Jason Harrington, Vice President of Operations at the hospital, says in the past two accesses were available after 9:00 p.m. One of those was in an area of new construction; the other was at the Emergency Department. Now, the Emergency Department on the hospital’s northeast side is the only way to access the facility between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.
Harrington says they took the action to ensure the safety and wellness of their patients.
