(Spencer)– A Spencer woman was taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle collision Tuesday morning in Spencer.
Spencer police say the collision happened just after 10:00 a.m. at the intersection of Sixth Avenue West and West Seventh Street. Authorities say Sharon Sassman of Spencer was eastbound on West Seventh when a northbound vehicle driven by Blain Thurston of Spencer pulled out into the intersection after failing to see her vehicle.
Sassman complained of chest pain and was taken to Spencer Hospital by ambulance.
Thurston was cited for failure to yield.
