Southern Minnesota Crash Sends Two People To The Hospital

(Mankato, Mn.)– A two vehicle collision Tuesday near Mankato sent a Fairmont man to the hospital.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 44-year-old Claudia Moreno of North Mankato was driving a 2021 Chevrolet Spark eastbound on Highway 68 and 43-year-old Christoffer Andersen of Fairmont was driving a 2022 Jeep Compass south bound on Highway 169 when the two collided.

Andersen and Moreno sustained non-life threatening injuries and were taken to a Mankato hospital.

The collision took place a little before 2:00 pm.
