(Spirit Lake)– More reminders regarding tomorrow’s (Tues.) primary election.
Jordan Moyer of the Dickinson County Auditor’s Office says if you received an absentee ballot in the mail and have not yet returned it, you will need to hand-deliver it to their office by no later than 8:00 pm tomorrow (Tues.)…
“It’s not a time stamp any more with the mail. It is by 8:00 pm on election day.”
Moyer adds there’s an easy way to find out where your polling site is if you aren’t sure and you plan to vote in person tomorrow (Tues.)…
“You can go onto our website to see where your polling place is. If you don’t know, you do have to go to your polling place on election day, you cannot vote in our office. And those locations are Spirit Lake at the Expo Building, and Arnolds Park does go to Spirit Lake this time. We have our Milford Community Building; the Lake Park Community Building and the Terril Memorial Building.”
You’ll also need to prove your indentity…
“Just make sure that you have your driver’s license with you. You do have to have that. You can have somebody attest for you if you don’t have one. Otherwise make sure your address matches on your driver’s license if you are not registered yet to vote.”
Polls tomorrow (Tues.) will be open from 7:00 am until 8:00 pm.
