For the first time in program history, the Spirit Lake Park-Okoboji boys soccer went on the road and defeated Spencer, taking down the Tigers 2-0. Erik Vaage and Zubeen Azari scored the two goals, with Azari’s coming late on a header. Head coach Bill Cochran-Bray says his defense and goalie Keith Oskvig deserve most of the credit fir the shutout win. SLP-O is now 5-1 in conference play and will play in the Waverly Tournament Saturday, before returning home to face Western Christian on Monday.
