(Spirit Lake)– A traffic stop Monday evening in Spirit Lake has resulted in drug charges against three Minnesota men.
Spirit Lake police say officers stopped a 1996 Jaguar for a traffic violation around 8:17 p.m. Monday. A subsequent search of the vehicle by the department’s K-9 Unit, Zeke, turned up a green leafy substance alleged to be marijuana.
23-year-old Dallas Koopman was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance; operating while intoxicated and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Also arrested were 21-year-old Jacob Verthorms and 26-year-old Jamie Glatz. They were charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
All three are from Fulda, Minnesota.
