(Spirit Lake)– Another case of a traffic stop resulting in a drug arrest.
Spirit Lake police say they pulled over a vehicle shortly after 9:00 p.m. last (Tuesday) evening for a traffic violation. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in officers finding a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana.
20-year-old Ryan Scott Winters of Spirit Lake was arrested and charged with distribution of a controlled substance to a minor…a class “B” felony; possession of a controlled substance, marijuana; prohibited acts; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Winters was booked into the Dickinson county jail.
