(Spirit Lake)– A minor fire caused some excitement this (Thursday) morning at Polaris Industries in Spirit Lake.
Spirit Lake Fire Chief Wally Jorgenson says firefighters were called to the scene around 6:00 a.m. He says the fire was located in some filters outside of the plant, on its south side. Jorgenson says they pulled out the ones that were on fire and extinguished them. There was no damage to the plant itself and no injuries were reported.
Even though the fire was outside, Jorgenson says the plant was evacuated out of standard procedure.
Spirit Lake firefighters were on the scene about 25 minutes.
