Single Vehicle Mishap Injures Five Young People From Milford

(Lakefield, Mn.)– Five young people from the Milford area were injured in a single-vehicle mishap Sunday evening in southwest Minnesota.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 17-year-old Benjamin Clifford of Milford lost control of a 1991 Chevy Lumina as he was traveling on Highway 86 two miles north of Lakefield. The vehicle left the road and collided with a pole.

Five male passengers…ages 11 and 12…and three 15-year-olds…were taken to the Jackson Medical Center where they were treated and released.

Moderate damage was reported to the vehicle.

The mishap took place shortly after 6:30 p.m.
