(Storm Lake)– A single vehicle crash Sunday morning near Marathon in Buena Vista county claimed the life of a Storm Lake man.
The Iowa State Patrol says 58-year-old Andrew Lincoln of Storm Lake was driving a 2007 Lincoln MKX eastbound on 480th Street east of Buena Vista County Road M54 when the vehicle left the road and rolled, coming to rest on the driver’s side in a corn field.
Lincoln, who was alone in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash took place a little after 9:00 am. The Buena Vista County Sheriff’s Office and a towing service assisted on the scene.
