Sheldon Man Pleads Guilty In Federal Court To Meth Charge (1)

(Sioux City)– A Sheldon man has pleaded guilty in U-S District Court to a meth charge.

At a plea hearing Wednesday, 30-year-old Jeffrey Paeper admitted that from 2002 through December 18th, 2003, he and others conspired to manufacture and distribute methamphetamine within a thousand feet of the Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn Middle School in Sanborn.

Sentencing was set for May 24th.

Paeper faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years imprisonment and a possible maximum sentence of life imprisonment, an eight million dollar fine and 10 years of supervised release following any imprisonment.
