The four seniors of the Spirit Lake-Okoboji girls tennis team had not lost a conference dual match during their high school careers and on Tuesday night they made sure it stayed that way in commanding fashion. SL-O shutout Cherokee 9-0, putting the finishing touches on a fourth consecutive 9-0 regular season. For the meet, Spirit Lake-Okoboji surrendered just six total points, and won seven matches by a 10-0 final.

The girls’ tennis team will travel to Cherokee on Saturday to battle LeMars in the opening round of the team regionals.
