(West Bend)– A rural West Bend man has been arrested on drug charges stemming from a search warrant that was executed on his residence back on June 26th of this year.
The search turned up evidence related to the manufacturing of methamphetamine that was sent to the DCI Crime Lab for testing.
61-year-old Donald Leonard was arrested this (Friday) morning and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine…a class “C” felony; possession of a precursor with intent to manufacture methamphetamine…also a class “C” felony; gathering where controlled substances are used…a class “D” felony; possession of a controlled substance, third offense…also a class “D” felony; and habitual offender.
Leonard was booked into the Palo Alto county jail on bond of 65-thousand dollars.
Palo Alto County Sheriff Dennis Goeders says their investigation continues and more arrests are expected.
