Rural SL Woman Injured In Single-Vehicle Rollover

November 22, 2014

(Milford)– A rural Spirit Lake woman was injured in a single-vehicle mishap Thursday evening just west of Milford.

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 16-year-old Kaylee Durst of rural Spirit Lake missed a curve and lost control of a 1992 Cadillac as she was westbound on 225th Street just west of Milford. The vehicle swerved off the road and went into a ditch where it rolled onto its top.

Durst was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare. There was no word on the extent of her injuries.

Durst was alone in the vehicle, which sustained an estimated 4,500-dollars in damage.

The mishap took place shortly before 9:30 p.m.

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the Lakes Regional Healthcare Ambulance and Milford Fire and Rescue.
