(Spencer)– A Royal man sustained minor injuries Saturday when the vehicle he was driving struck a curb and overturned on the passenger side.
Authorities say 37-year-old Patrick Johnson was driving a 1974 Chevrolet truck eastbound in the 900 block of East Fifth Street in Spencer when the brakes went out.
Johnson sustained what’s described as non-incapacitating injuries, but wasn’t taken to a hospital.
The vehicle sustained an estimated one thousand dollars in damage.
The mishap took place around 4:00 p.m.
Johnson was cited for driving while barred.
