Pipeline Changes Hands

(Milford)– A petroleum pipeline that serves northwest Iowa is changing hands.

Kaneb Pipeline, formerly Williams Pipe Line, is now owned by Valero of San Antonio, Texas.

The company has terminals in Milford, Rock Rapids and LeMars. It has about 22-thousand employees nationwide and 31.5 billion dollars in assets.

It’s the largest refiner in the U-S with a capacity of about 3.3 million barrels per day.
