Emmetsburg hosted its annual baseball tournament Saturday, with Okoboji and Alta/Aurelia both on hand. The Warriors came away with a pair of wins, defeating Emmetsburg, 11-2, and the Pioneers by a 14-8 margin. The E-Hawks put a notch in the win column with a 10-5 victory over Okoboji. Emmetsburg improves to 5-6 and travels to Estherville-Lincoln Central for a Lakes Conference game on Monday. The Pioneers are also 5-6 and in the midst of a six-game skid. They host Sibley-Ocheyedan for a Siouxland Conference rivalry showdown Monday on Q102.
The Generals will be coming off a 11-6 setback against MOC-Floyd Valley on Saturday. Sibley-Ocheyedan is 2-5 overall and 2-4 in the league.
