(Spencer)– No injuries were reported Monday when a car collided with a building in downtown Spencer.
Spencer police say a vehicle was parked on the west side of Casey’s General Store on Grand Avenue when a two-year-old passenger knocked it out of gear, causing the vehicle to roll back. Another passenger tried to stop it, but the vehicle rolled up onto a curb, striking the Audio Video Connection building at 816 South Grand Avenue.
Damage to the 1994 Chevrolet pickup was estimated at 800-dollars. The building sustained an estimated 100-dollars in damage.
No injuries were reported.
