(Orleans)– The boil advisory previously in effect for the city of Orleans has been lifted.
Officials with Iowa Lakes Regional Water announced late this afternoon (Saturday, July 4th), water samples that were tested have come back satisfactorily and the advisory is no longer in effect.
It was put into place Thursday after a contractor accidentally struck a water main.
