(Milford)– You’ll have a chance to purchase some Dickinson county history this Sunday (August 13th) in Milford.
Supervisor Pam Jordan says some furnishings and memorabilia from the old courthouse will be on the auction block at Noon Sunday at the county maintenance building on the east side of Milford, just off County Road A-34.
Jordan says there will be hundreds of items on the block, including some sections of tin ceiling from the courtroom in the 1891 courthouse, door knobs, hinges, wainscoating…even old jail cell doors and limestone blocks from the base of the old courthouse building.
Code and journal books from years gone by will also be up for sale.
