(Okoboji)– Workers have started putting the finishing touches on Okoboji’s new Public Works Building that will house the city’s Police and Public Works Departments.
City Administrator Dennis Daly says they expect completion in about eight weeks. He says the exterior of the building is done except for some facia work on the front along with some exterior lights that need to be put up along with some landscaping. Daly says the Police Department area is nearly complete with tile, carpet and ceilings being installed right now. Some electrical work continues as well.
Daly says the 1.4 million dollar project continues on schedule and budget.
