(Spencer)– The Northwest Iowa Airport Board of Trustees is requesting a 10-thousand dollar grant from the Clay County Community Foundation.
Gayle Brandt of Leading Edge Aviation says the airport has been asked to host “Fly Iowa 2006” this coming June 10th and 11th. She says the grant would help offset the costs of bringing in acts for the air show.
Spencer last hosted “Fly Iowa” back in 1997.
The Clay County Community Foundation will start awarding grants in early January.
