(Worthington, Mn.)– A two vehicle collision Friday in Nobles county sent two people to the hospital.
The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened at the intersection of Highway 59 and 220th Street near Brewster. Troopers say 29-year-old Kate Broersma of Sheldon was driving a 2004 Ford pickup northbound on Highway 59 and a 17-year-old from Heron Lake was driving a 2018 Malibu and had stopped on 220th Street when the two collided.
Both drivers were taken to the Worthington hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Worthington ambulance, Nobles County Sheriff’s Office, Worthington Police Department and the Brewster Fire Department assisted on the scene. The collision took place a little after 5:00 pm.
