(Sibley)– No injuries were reported in a wreck Sunday involving a pickup and a semi.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says Martin Vandersloot of Sioux Falls was driving a 2001 Ford pickup when he was unable to stop at the intersection of Olive Avenue and County Road A-22 due to poor road conditions. Vandersloot collided with a semi driven by Chad Kleve of Ocheyedan and owned by Dressen Trucking, Incorporated of Sibley.
The pickup Vandersloot was driving was totalled; two thousand dollars in damage was estimated to the semi driven by Kleve.
Vandersloot was cited for failure to maintain control.
