(Spirit Lake)– Spirit Lake High School has a new Principal.
Superintendent Tim Grieves says Jedd Sherman has been hired to the position and will begin his new job this coming July 1st.
Sherman has been pre-school through 12th grade Principal at the Walnut Community School System the past three years. He also has had experience teaching Middle School Biology, Physical Science, Environmental Science, Consumer Science, Anatomy and Physiology in Connecticut and New Jersey. Prior to that Sherman was involved in commercial banking in northeaster New Jersey for five years.
Sherman has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biology from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut. He completed his Master’s Degree from Central Connecticut State University in Educational Leadership and is currently in an Educational Administration Program at Iowa State University.
Sherman replaces Fred Skretta who is moving back to the Kansas City area.
