New ILCC President May Be Announced Late Tuesday

November 22, 2014

(Estherville)– We could know as early as Tuesday as to who the next President of Iowa Lakes Community College will be.

Interviews of four finalists for the position were held last week. They include Dr. Tim Grieves, Superintendent of the Spirit Lake Community Schools; Dr. Robert Exley of Western Iowa Community College; Douglas Williams of Des Moines Area Community College and Dr. Harold Prior, Superintendent of the Algona Community School District.

The ILCC Presidential Search Committee meets in closed session at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday to review applications and discuss candidates. That will be followed by an open session at which time the committee is expected to make a formal recommendation to the college’s board of trustees. The trustees will consider that recommendation at their meeting beginning at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday in the college’s Administrative Offices at 19 South Seventh Street in Estherville.
