(Algona)– Minor injuries were reported when a crop dusting plane crashed Wednesday a few miles south of Algona.
The Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office says law enforcement and first responders were called to the area of 1009 180th
Street around 4:17 pm. Authorities say the Cessna Model A188B plane owned by D and K Aviation of Milford lost power and clipped some power lines.
The pilot, who’s name hasn’t been released, was alone in the plane and was treated on the scene for some minor cuts and wasn’t taken to a hospital. No one on the ground was hurt.
The Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office says the Federal Aviation Administration was notified and an investigation is ongoing.
