(Spencer)– Minor injuries were reported to a Spencer woman when she lost control of a mini van Monday on a gravel road.
The Sheriff’s Office says 56-year-old Dollene Kinnetz was driving a 1991 Pontiac Transport southbound on 190th Avenue 1.3 miles north of Highway 18. Authorities say the road was being graded at the time and there was a windrow of gravel going down the middle. They say Kinnetz crossed over the windrow and attempted to cross back over when she lost control. The vehicle slid sideways and rolled onto its side. The vehicle was turned back over onto its wheels when a deputy arrived.
Kinnetz was taken by her husband to Spencer Hospital.
A thousand dollars in damage was estimated to the vehicle.
The mishap took place shortly before 2:00 p.m.
