(Milford)– What originated as a noise complaint this past Saturday in Milford resulted in authorities citing several suspects for underage drinking and landed a couple of others in jail on drug charges.
Milford police say officers were called to 1108 9th Street where they found several underage people drinking. Kevin Salton of Ayrshire, Tanner Wallace, Klint Wiley, Tucker Whitehead, Christopher Stewart and Benjamin Wise all of Spencer were cited for underage drinking.
Authorities say a subsequent search of the residence turned up what’s alleged to be marijuana, drug paraphernalia and prescription medication. Two people who live at the residence, Matthew Mason and Tiffany Maurer, were charged with possession of a controleld substance…marijuana; possession of prescription medication and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were booked into the Dickinson county jail.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and more charges are likely.
The Milford Police Department was assisted by the Arnolds Park Police Department and the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office.
