(Milford)– A Milford man has been charged for giving tattoos without a permit.
Milford police have charged 32-year-old Jason Lynn Woodard with providing a tattoo without a permit; and providing a tattoo to a minor. Both charges are simple misdemeanors.
Police say the charges stem from a complaint they received from a parent about their underage child receiving a “jailhouse-type” tattoo without their permission.
Authorities add Woodard did not have a permit from the Iowa Department of Public Health.
The investigation is ongoing.
