Meth Lab Found Near Everly

November 22, 2014

(Everly)– Clay county authorities are investigating a meth lab discovered northwest of Everly.

Sheriff Randy Krukow says his office received a phone call Wednesday evening from a rural resident who found a meth lab in one of their outbuildings.

Once deputies arrived they called in meth lab clean-up officers from Pocahontas county, the Spencer Police Department and the State Fire Marshal’s Office. Everly Fire and Rescue and Clay County Emergency Management assisted on the scene.

Krukow says his department is working with the Iowa Great Lakes Drug Task Force and area law enforcement to find those responsible.
