Meth Dump Site Found In Palo Alto County

November 22, 2014

(Graettinger)– A meth lab dumpsite has been uncovered in Palo Alto county.

The Sheriff’s Office says it was notified of a possible dumpsite last Saturday one mile west and two miles south of Graettinger. Deputies responded and found numerous items used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine, including a 20 pound cylinder half full of anhydrous ammonia.

Deputies secured the site, confiscated the materials and discharged the anhydrous container by shooting it.

The items have been sent to the DCI Crime Lab for testing.
