(Wahpeton)– A heavily used boat ramp on the west side of West Lake Okoboji will see a partial closure this coming Monday, July 27th.
The Iowa Department of Natural Resources says some maintenance work at the Emmerson Bay State Recreation Area will be taking place and that at least one boat ramp, along with room to maneuver, will remain open. The DNR says the project should be completed by mid-day Tuesday at the latest.
DNR officials say boaters should plan for extra time to enter and exit the water or use an alternative ramp during that time.
