M-56 Crash Sends Two Milford Residents To The Hospital

(Spirit Lake)– Two Milford residents were injured in a two-vehicle mishap this (Thursday) morning on Dickinson County Road M-56 just north of Elinor Bedell State Park.

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says Nadine Brosh of Milford was northbound when she failed to negotiate a curve and slid into the southbound lane, colliding with a vehicle driven by Nelda Broocks, also of Milford.

Brosh and Broocks were taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare. There was no word on the extent of their injuries.

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the Spirit Lake Police Department, Spirit Lake Fire Department, Spirit Lake First Responders, Lakes Regional Healthcare Ambulance and the Lakes Area Extrication Unit.

The mishap took place around 8:00 a.m.
