Speaking of the postseason, the Iowa Lakes softball team will begin their District Championship play today in Estherville. The Lakers are 57-9 following their Regional Championship victory over Iowa Central. Their opponent this afternoon will be Central Community College from Columbus, Nebraska. The teams will play two games; however, if they split, a third and decisive game will be played on Friday.
