(Lakefield, Mn.)– Lakefield Police Chief Roger Pohlman has announced he’ll be retiring effective this coming December 31st.
Pohlman has a combined 41 years of service between the military and law enforcement. He’s been Chief of Police in Lakefield a little more than five years.
Pohlman says he’s proud of what he was able to accomplish during his tenure in Lakefield, which included an emphasis on community policing along with replacing sirens, implementing the use of body cameras and safety programs, and updating equipment.
He expressed his gratitude to the residents of Lakefield for their support and trust in him over the years.
Pohlman plans to spend more time with family upon retiring.
