Judge Agrees To Reconsider Order On Media Restrictions In Local Case

(Spirit Lake)– A judge has agreed to reconsider an order restricting media coverage in the case of a local man accused of criminally transmitting the virus that causes AIDS.

Dewayne Boyd of Milford is accused of knowingly exposing women to the H-I-V virus.

Last month, Judge David Lester said reporters should not name the alleged victims and were barred from photographing, videotaping or interviewing them as they entered or left the Dickinson county courthouse.
