(Estherville)– The board of trustees of Iowa Lakes Community College Tuesday took another step in the process of finding a new President.
The trustees voted to enter into an agreement with Dr. Larry Ebbers of Iowa State University. The board will work with Ebbers in establishing proper advertising and timelines for candidate selection.
John Hand, President of the Board of Trustees and chair of the selection committee, says the deadline for applications will be December 1st. He says faculty and others will be involved in the selection process. He estimates interviews will tentatively occur in mid-January.
Current President Dr. Mike Hupfer announced a month ago he’ll be retiring effective this coming February 1st. He’s been President of ILCC since November of 2001.
