(Lakefield, Mn.)– A two-vehicle accident Thursday at the intersection of Interstate 90 and Highway 86 in Jackson county left one person complaining of possible injury.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 32-year-old Dean Sendt of East Dubuque, Illinois was eastbound on Interstate 90 while 36-year-old Kristine Novich of Lakefield was southbound on Highway 86. Authorities say Sendt didn’t yield after stopping at a stop sign at the Highway 86 exit and collided with the vehicle driven by Novich.
A passenger in the Sendt vehicle, 23-year-old Kristina Sendt of East Dubuque, Illinois, complained of a sore arm and legs, but didn’t seek immediate treatment. No other injuries were reported.
Moderate damage was reported to a 1998 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Novich with severe damage to a 1998 Dodge van driven by Dean Sendt.
The crash took place shortly after 1:00 p.m. Thursday.
