(Des Moines)– State Representative Marcie Frevert of Emmetsburg has been appointed to an environmental task force with legislators and state officials from across the country.
The committee was created by the Council of State Governments.
The task force provides a forum for state leaders to address challenges presented by changing social, economic and political environments. Priorities of the task force include water quality and supply management, air quality and renewable energy.
Frevert’s appointment was made by House Minority Leader Pat Murphy.
