(Des Moines)– State Representatives Mary Lou Freeman of Alta and Mike May of Spirit Lake have been named Republican representatives on the newly-formed House Veterans Affairs Committee.
Freeman has been appointed Chair of the committee.
Included on the committee’s agenda will be the new Iowa Veteran’s Cemetery, the Veterans Trust Fund, Veterans Identification Project and the Iowa Veterans Home.
