Four Teens Arrested In CCE Middle School Break-In

November 22, 2014

(Royal)– Four teens have been arrested and charged in connection with a February 27th break-in at the Clay Central/Everly Middle School in Royal.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the break-in from school officials on February 28th. Entry was gained by forcing open a door. Nothing was found vandalized or stolen.

An investigation by the Sheriff’s Office and school officials determined four male juveniles from the local area were responsible for the break-in. Each was charged with trespass for entering a locked building. Two of the four were charged with criminal mischief for damage done to the door.

All charges are simple misdemeanors.

The teens were released to the custody of their parents. They’ll appear in juvenile court at a later date.
