(Spirit Lake)– Some urban renewal will be taking place Wednesday in uptown Spirit Lake.
Public Works Director Todd Dolphin says crews will be tearing down the former “Full Throttle” building on Lake Street.
As a precaution, Dolphin says the city will be closing down a portion of Lake Street from an alley west of Gary Avenue to Gary Avenue. A parking lot in that same area will also be closed Wednesday.
The “Full Throttle” lot will be used for additional parking.
