(Spirit Lake)– VerDon Schmidt , of rural Everly, was named the 2026 Dean of the Dickinson County Fair Sunday night, July 19, during the annual concert and Fair Board supper.
Schmidt has been active in the Dickinson County Fair and Dickinson County Extension Board for many years and most recently retired after many years of announcing the livestock auction at the annual fair.
