July 03, 2026

(Estherville)– The Estherville Chamber of Commerce holds its 77th annual Flight Breakfast Saturday, an event that’s become a staple with the 4th of July. Chamber Director Lexi Ruter…

“We’d love to see everyone out at the Estherville Airport from 7:00 to 11:00 am. We’ve got a delicious breakfast of pancakes, eggs, sausage and beverages, and then we’ve also got fun entertainment including the Northwest Iowa Jazz Band, the Estherville Ukelele group will be providing music throughout the morning. There’s also free kids activities including an obstacle course, other inflatables; there’s plane and helicopter rides available for a small fee during the event, and then we’ll have tons of classic cars and airplanes flying in, lots of things to walk around and check out. It’s also supposed to be a really beautiful morning so we hope everybody comes out and enjoys a great kick off to their 4th of July.”

She says tickets will be available tomorrow (Sat.) at the event…

“The breakfast is adults 12 and over is $10.00; children 4 to 11 years-old is $5.00 and children 3 and under are free. Pilots and co-pilots are also free if you fly in and any passengers that come in on planes are half-price.”

The airport is located a couple of miles east of Estherville just off Highway 9.
