(Armstrong)– Two people have been found dead in what Emmet county authorities say appears to be a murder-suicide.
The Emmet County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called around 10:00 p.m. Monday regarding a shooting at 146 Golf Course Drive in Armstrong. When deputies arrived at the couple’s home, their children, ages eight, five and four, were found asleep upstairs. The body of 35-year-old Nathan Anderson was found outside in the yard; the body of 34-year-old Amy Anderson was found in a living room chair. The Sheriff’s Office says both died of gunshot wounds. They didn’t identify which of the Andersons shot the other before committing suicide.
The investigation continues.
