ELC Patrons To Vote On Bond Issue

November 22, 2014

(Estherville)– An advisory committee is putting together a bond issue proposal for patrons of the Estherville-Lincoln Central School District.

Superintendent Dick Magnuson says the newest school building in the community is 40 years old, and the oldest is 90 years old.

Since the district’s bonding capacity is only eight to nine million dollars not all of the needs can be met, but the bond issue will probably try to solve the need for pre-kindergarten through eighth grade classrooms.

Magnuson hopes to have the bond issue before voters in November.
