Dickinson Co. Drug Raids Result In Multiple Charges Against Several People

(Terril)– Multiple drug charges have been filed against three people in connection with two separate drug raids Wednesday in Dickinson county.

The first search warrant was executed at 210 East Adams Street in Terril. It resulted in 48-year-old Sherry Morris being arrested and charged with manufacturing a controlled substance, methamphetamine; ongoing criminal conduct; possession of a controlled substance, marijuana; gatherings where a controlled substance, marijuana, is used; gatherings where a controlled substance, methamphetamine is used; possession of ephedrine as a precursor; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A second search warrant was executed at 2249 330th Avenue near Terril. It resulted in the arrests of 56-year-old Charles Longman and 18-year-old Lacey Longman. Charles Longman was charged with manufacturing a controlled substance, methamphetamine; ongoing criminal conduct; possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine; possession of a controlled substance, marijuana; possessing or transporting anhydrous ammonia in an unauthorized container; gatherings where a controlled substance, marijuana is used; possession of ephedrine as a precursor; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Lacey Longman was charged with manufacturing a controlled substance, methamphetamine; and possession of a controlled substance, marijuana.

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, the Spirit Lake, Milford and Terril Police Departments, and the Iowa Department of Narcotics Enforcement.

Authorities say their investigation continues and additional charges and arrests are expected.
