(Des Moines)– State Senator David Johnson of Ocheyedan says he’ll seek a second four-year term in the Iowa General Assembly in 2006.
Johnson was first elected to the Senate in 2002 after serving two terms in the Iowa House. He represents District Three, which includes Clay, Dickinson, O’Brien and Osceola counties and four townships in Sioux county.
Johnson has served seven years on the Health and Human Services Budget Subcommittee and is a member of the Natural Resources and Environment, Appropriations and Human Resources Committees.
He also is a legislative appointee to the Iowa Commision on Elder Affairs.
